“This tire HOOKS-UP on anything that isn't hardpack... although it will hook-up on rocks. If the ground is soft at all, the traction is amazing. I love it on a grass track with a little moisture... like riding on a rail. Hard ground will wear it out, and you won't like it as much as a 756 when there's variety on the trail.”

“These tires work wonders in the sand and cross over into hard terrain pretty well for their focus. Knobs hold up to rocks. Just don't expect them to do as well as 756 in firmer terrain.”

    Dunlop D773 soft terrain tire

“This tire is a miracle worker in soft and sandy terrain (5 stars ALL THE WAY)! If you use it anywhere else (e.g. anything with rocks or gravel) it will wear out fast. I highly recommend this tire when used according to its specified niche. Otherwise, you may not be so impressed with this tire.
Additional Comments On Jan 05, 2010:Make sure you match your tire to your terrain. This tire is designed specifically for soft terrain, so don't expect it to be a "do-all" tire. This will wear out quickly if used in rocky or hard-pack terrain. With that said, if you use it in sandy or soft loam you will love this tire.”

    D773 tire

    From: Rockymountainatv.com | 04/07/08
“Purchased this tire 1 year ago. Just looked @ wear & was SHOCKED !! I ride in Michigan(a few months outta the year) & only (possibly) every other w/e. The edges of knobbys are really rounded off, BAD! The terrain we ride is mixed, but mostly soft. My driveway on the other hand is crushed blacktop, gravel & sand. The kicker is this tire is on a XR 50. really wasnt expecting that much wear on a machine with so little power. Would not reccomend this one unless your terrain is strictly soft.I'm sure it will still wear out fast though. Strictly sand or mud, yea i'm sure it does fine. ANYTHING else , I say no way.”
