“I've been using one of these for a long time, and think it's great. It definitely gets darker in sunlight, and the anti-fog side-benefit makes early morning rides much better (I can see!).”

“This little piece of tech is unbelievable. I've been riding my snowmobile for about 6 hours a day and the helmet hasn't fogged up once since I stuck the pro grip on. I will be buying more of these for my other helmets.

“It was easy to apply and the finish is very clear but it does not darken anywhere near as dark as the picture that you show. It does cut the glare but you must still wear sunglasses with it if the sun is bright. ”

Pro GRIP 3000 Light Sensitive Lens

    From: motorcycle-superstore.com |
“I had already tried the clear version, but with a new helmet i wanted a tad more tint than the clear, so this time i ordered the mirror blue lens.
The Pro Grip lens has 1 great feature and 1 not so great feature. They are good because they absolutely will stop fogging facesheilds on cold mornings. period.
Not so great is the Light Sensitive part. They still need to work out some bugs, like the shield never seems to be completely clear in low light situations, making the pre-dawn or night rides way too dark for safety. and in bright sun, they are only marginally dark enough.
Pro Grip should market the anti-fog benefits of the shield, and forget about the tinting.
This is only a problem in very dark or very bright conditions, and i must say the blue mirror finish is pretty slick.”

    Awesome Product...

“I ride up until there is a chance of icy conditions on the roads up here in the Northeast. (I usually hang it up for the winter in November) This insert has been just the ticket against fogging. I can't even intentionally fog it up... the light sensitivity is noticeable, though it doesn't really darken enough to make a difference when riding into the sun... you still need some sunglasses. (I have the clear shield... I can't speak for the mirrored ones...)I will certainly buy one of these again... A+ product.”

    Ok but...

“I got the clear one. It doesn't darken much at all. In bright sun light it's still lighter than my light smoke visor. And the color is an ugly purple. On the other hand, no fogging what so ever! I wish they just made it clear without the light sensitive feature. I would buy another then.”

    LS 3000 LENSES

“Great no fog but the tinting on bright days is to be desired, could be darker as I wear glasses when I ride.”

No benefit from Pro Grip 3000 Light Sensitive Lens
    1
    From: motorcycle-superstore.com |
“I ordered this shield insert hoping to make rides in the sunny weather or low sun less of a pain. The lens attached easily and securely. However, I did not notice ANY effect on the amount of sunlight, even after a while, when the lens was supposed to stabilize. I still cannot ride without my sunglasses on normal days either, so the lens must be very ineffective in terms of reducing lumen. The other supposed benefit from the lens would be its anti-fog features, however, as I already got antifog i”
